Azerbaijan State Physical Education and Sports Academy
Azerbaijan State Physical Education and Sports Academy (ADBTIA) is a higher education institution in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan State Physical Education and Sports Academy has a history of 90 years. 1930 yılında kuruldu. Enstitüde ilk yıllarda 11 bölüm kurulmuştur. Eğitim Azerice, Rusça, Gürcüce ve Ermenice dillerinde yapılmış, önce 3 yıllık, ardından 4 yıllık eğitim sistemine geçilmiştir. Bu yüksek okul 1936 yılından itibaren Transkafkasya Devlet Beden Eğitimi Enstitüsü olarak faaliyetine devam etmektedir. Bu dönemde enstitüde sosyal bilimler, anatomi, biyoloji, kimya, hijyen, fizik, fizyoloji, matematik, beden eğitimi teknik ve yöntemleri bölümleri açıldı.
