Saint Petersburg State University
Saint Petersburg State University (Russian: Санкт-Петербургский госуда́рственный университе́т - СПбГ У) is one of the largest and oldest universities in Russia. The composition of the university includes 21 faculties, 13 scientific research institutes, the Canadian SPDU college, the faculty of military training and the department of physical education and sports of the entire university.
Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Lyudmila Verbiskaya President of SPDU, Professor N.M. Kropachev is the Rector.
