The master's program in Social Work in Various Spheres of Life at Nakhchivan State University (NSU) provides specialization in social work practice and social policy in the fields of health, education, justice and family.
Nakhchivan State University (NSU) is the state university of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, on the border with Turkey, founded in 1967: 10 faculties, 43 departments, 528 faculty members, about 12,000 students and a 108-hectare campus. As of December 2025, more than 1,200 of its 1,693 international students are Turkish citizens. The Master's and Doctoral Center runs all graduate programs; Nakhchivan is a few hours by road from Iğdır and Kars.
Admission requires a bachelor's diploma in a related field and a transcript; for international students, document evaluation and an interview replace the entrance exam. The program lasts 2 years (4 semesters, 120 ECTS) and is completed with a course period, pedagogical or research practice and the defense of the thesis (magistr dissertasiyası). The language of instruction is Azerbaijani.
